"God Feels What We Feel"

“It is of the Lords mercies, that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. Lam 3:22

We used to think of God as an Old man with a long white beard as a child. But when we matured we learned otherwise. As we rad the Bible, we realized that God is a Spirit. We learned he is immutable, eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. God does not have a body, nor is he confined to one places as a physical being would be. Note how Jesus appeared in his resurrected body before his disciples many at the same time. God has the attributes of a person. Not only does he think, and speak, he also moves, communicates, loves us, and becomes angry. God does grieve because he is a person who feels what we feel. If you are feeling depressed, lonely, friendless, know this that God Feels our pain and despair. We know over 78,000 have lost their lives due to Covid19, however the scripture says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. No matter what we face, God understands what we are going, just as we are-yet….without sine (Hebrews 4:15) That’s why we can bring everything to him in prayer and he will understand. Our motto is Jesus never fails. God sent his son Jesus to each of us to identify with the suffering of Human nature. Humanity was dead in its trespasses and sins, but God had an answer-Calvary Cross was the emblem of suffering and shame where our savior gave his life. He felt the pain of our sin, but sin could not hold him in the grave, because early on Sunday morning, he rose, yes he rose, now we can face tomorrow. Halleleujah.
