Youth, Men, and Women's Ministries

Young Missionaries in Action (YMIA): Mentoring / Outreach ministry for teenage boys and girls. YMIA's mission is to enhance spiritual growth in teenagers, develop positive social and academic skills, and promote community & missionary service.

 

Mentoring / Outreach ministry for young girls and adults, ages 6-21 years old. YMIA's mission is to foster spiritual growth, develop positive social and academic skills, and promote community & missionary service.

 

Young Brothers and Disciples (YBAD)

Mentoring/Outreach ministry for young boys and men.  YBAD's mission is to equip young brothers to become disciples of Christ through a strong mentoring program. (Rev. Raymond A. Dennis, Coordinator)

Young Adult Women's Ministry

This ministry is designed to facilitate biblical knowledge, foster spiritual growth, and promote self-awareness in young women ages 19-39. Most importantly, YAW is a missionary organization that supports outreach efforts for our church family, and community family-at-large. (Sis. Mary Tolliver, Coordinator)

Praise Dance Ministry

Our praise dance ministry, directed by Ms. Rekesha Dennis and Ms. Rashanna Dennis, has continuously flourished since its inception. Our young girls, ranging from ages 6-21 years old express true worship and praise through liturgical-style dance. They have taken their ministry outside the confines of Gospel Mission MBC, and have danced in convalescent homes, opened for professional musical groups, and have participated in recreational park events. Men's Brotherhood

Meetings are held every 1st Saturday at 8:00am and every 3rd Thursday at 6:30 pm. Open to young boys and men.
